Aymeric de Borel

"Come what may, we will never cease to believe."

A man of Ishgard. Lord Commander of the Temple Knights, Lord Speaker of the House of Lords, and Viscount of House Borel.Though not of noble birth, by virtue of his countless accomplishments, he rose in rank and achieved his current station. He risks life and limb to protect his people.

The Mun is 30+ (MDNI!)Self-indulgent NPC RP account made for personal RP colabs with close friends. No NPC x NPC.Some of his history, thoughts, and feelings about MSQ events and other NPCs are personal headcanons that come from the Mun’s own lore/fanfiction.

Elegant, fashionable, and considered one of the most eligible bachelors in Ishgard, Aymeric is still a formidable fighter and is dangerous with a sword and a bow.Only the Borels knew for a fact that Thordan VII was Aymeric's father. They were sworn to secrecy and they never told a soul, for Aymeric's protection—and their own.Aymeric was a good kid, but could be headstrong and feisty. He became a squire at 17, with a letter of recommendation from his adoptive father, Viscount Philippe de Borel who was well-respected as a member of the Tribunal.Has a brotherly bond with Estinien and Haurchefant, since all 3 of them basically felt like black karakuls. He views Count Edmont as a fatherly figure.Carries and immense guilt over the death of Haurchefant and has yet to forgive himself. He suffered greatly at the hands of the Heavens' Ward and was left horribly scarred after his torture inside The Vault. He was branded with the sign of the Spear upon his back. While he may not be overjoyed to be Lord Speaker, he very much enjoys being Lord Commander, and he would not give up that title/rank so easily! We know he has a cantankerous old cat, but nothing else, so I HC that his cat is black! His name is Jacque. In line with his audacious and daring attitude, I HC he rides a motorcycle, specifically the SDS Fenrir. His personal bird is a snow-white Draught chocobo male named Neveah. The Borel Coat of Arms is blue, gold, and silver, emblazoned with a majestic griffin.Viscount Philippe de Borel gifted Aymeric his sword, Naegling, upon becoming a knight.
